During all december're weekends, a lot of friends & work companion do lunches in restaurants & in her houses.. The dinner food is pork, turkey, and a great variety of meals..

In the daybreak of 25th & 31st of december, are open the bars & all places when the people can dance.. People go to the church with family, then come back to a family gathering.

24th of december is a very special day because they are Christian and celebrate Jesus' birth.Houses are decorated with red and white garlands..

On the door Father Christmas's Boots are placed.

The Christmas tree is decorated with colored lights, ornaments and Father Christmas placed on top of it. Also, Children write a letter to Papa Noel, putting the names of all the presents that they want.. The day of 24th of december at midnight, all familys open his presents that are under the Christmas tree.

Norwegian children always remember a little gnome Nisse at Christmas.. They have Santa Claus, but is not more important..

The favorite lunch is called a "Sand Kager".. Is made by mixing 2 cups of butter and sugar, 4 cups of flour, and 1 cup of chopped almonds. This pressed into a tin, baked until golden brown, and cut into squares.

Christmas in Norway begins with the Saint Lucia ceremony on the 13rd December.The Christmas tree are often decorated with candles, apples, red harts, cornets, straw ornaments, balls of glass and tinsels, all depending on what you like.

On Christmas Eve children go to a lot of houses and sing carols.. The people give them some gifts or sweets..

Christmas trees are not commonly used in Greece.
